Born 21st January 1947, Sadly passed away at home on the 28th July 2026, aged 79 years.
Dearly loved Mother of Alex, Robert, Xander, Bernard & Deborah.
Loving Sister of Doreen.
Nana to her 8 Grandchildren.
Carer for the environment, community spirited.
Honest, hardworking, scientifically minded, academic.

Thirlmere Cemetery Station Street Thirlmere, on Friday 7th August 2026 at 12pm

Goodbye Mum
Joy was one of our best friends. We loved her to bits. We are in disbelief and miss her already. Sadly, our plans will always be unfulfilled. Goodbye dear friend.

When we moved to Thirlmere we had the pleasure of Joy and her family being our neighbours for 6 years. The loss of Joy will be noticed and she is dearly missed by us all and the community
