Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phillip William Bawden, better known as “Phil the bus driver”.
Sadly, he passed away December 15 at the age of 88 years.
Phil drove buses throughout the local area and became a familiar, trusted face to many who knew him.
He was dearly loved by his wife Catherine Mary Bawden and a loved father to Cathy Halse and Lindsay Bawden and father-in-law to Therese Bawden and Michael Halse.
Rebecca, Sophia, Shae, Christopher and their families knew him as Poppa.
Phil was loved and cherished by all and will never be forgotten.
Funeral Details
The service for Phil will be held at St Anthony’s Catholic Church, Tahmoor on Tuesday 30th December 2025, commencing at 12.00 pm.
